Crisis of the United States Prison System
April 11, 2002

CJPF President Eric E. Sterling will be speaking at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2002, at a panel discussion on "The Crisis of the United States Prison System." This discussion is part of a week long Symposium on the U.S. Prison System at Georgetown University. Click here for a full list of the week's events. Stuck in a 'Traffic' Jam
Spring 2001, “On Balance” (CJPF's quarterly publication)

Whether “Traffic” wins the Academy Award for Best Picture is now almost academic but the lessons of the picture have prompted an important national dialogue. In a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on drug policy, “Traffic” played a leading role.
